This film tells the triumphant story of Zuzana Ruzickova and how she became a world-famous harpsichordist and interpreter of Bach under the Communist regine in Czechoslovakia after surviving three concentration camps during her teenage years.

Performed by Philip Harrison, selections from Viktor Ullmann's poetry the Silent Passenger evoke the pain and hope of Holocaust victims murdered - but not silenced.
Ullmann's compositions are performed by members of Royal Northern Sinfonia.
